Avocado oil for hair

Avocado oil is one of the highest quality oils in the world. It impresses with its positive effects on the human body and is contained in many high-priced beauty products. It does a good job of caring for your hair and is easy to use.

Avocado oil can be used as the basis of a homemade hair care product – this does not require a lot of previous knowledge.

When using the oil, oil stains can appear on clothing and towels, so we recommend having an old towel ready.

The oil can be mixed with other nourishing oils, such as almond oil, or applied neat. While it is particularly well absorbed by its consistency when caring for the skin, when used as a hair care product, the amount should initially be small. To treat split ends, the oil must be distributed in the palms of the hands and then gently massaged into the ends of the hair.

However, one should not expect miracles: the nourishing oil increases the moisture content in the hair and thus prevents new hair breakage. It is not a secret, as yet an undiscovered hair restorer.

The ingredients are convincing

The pulp oil is rich in high-quality ingredients. Basically, it is just as rich in minerals and vitamins as the avocado fruit itself. So it adds a lot of vitamins C and E to the hair. The oil also contains a rich vitamin B complex and vitamins D and K. It is rich in magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium and also contains calcium and iron.

The oil from the pulp of the avocado is also suitable as a natural basis for homemade hair masks, which not only take good care of the hair but also the scalp. The outcome is determined by the size of hair as well as the prior condition. With regular care with avocado oil, the hair becomes soft and shiny and the scalp is moisturized.

If the hair is washed and blown frequently, regular use of a nourishing oil is definitely a good idea.

If the oil is mixed with other oils, it should be stored in a dark glass bottle in a cool, dry place and used up at all times. Good experiences in hair care have been gathered in combination with castor oil, almond oil, and coconut oil, among other things.

Avocado Hair Butter

If you don’t want to experiment with oils yourself, you can also use finished products. For example, at dm, there is a so-called repair hair butter with avocado oil, castor oil, and shea butter. These are vegan, certified natural cosmetics that are widely available for little money.

This hair cream can be applied to treat the hair in 2 ways. either as a treatment for hair prior to washing, or after washing to provide an extra nourishing finish. The product is a little easier to massage into the towel-dampened hair – but then you have to wrap a towel around your hair so that clothes or bed linen are not soiled.

If you use it as a leave-in product, you should use the hair butter sparingly, otherwise, the hair will quickly look greasy and stringy.
